Cookie Policy & Transparency Disclosure

How StudioOS utilizes strictly essential functional cookies to deliver a fast, secure workspace with zero third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Terms of ServicePrivacy PolicyCookie PolicyCancellation & RefundsData ResponsibilityPlatform Security

1. Our Zero-Ad Tracking Commitment

StudioOS operates as a specialized production operating system for creative photography and cinema studios. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not monetize user attention, and we do not sell data to data brokers.

We do NOT install third-party tracking pixels (such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Google AdSense) on our website, inside studio cockpits, or on the public storefronts and proposals you share with your wedding clients.

2. Why Cookie Consent Banners Are Not Displayed

Under international privacy standards, including the European Union ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 5(3)), and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary to provide an explicitly requested service are exempt from mandatory cookie consent banners.

Because StudioOS exclusively deploys strictly essential session and functional cookies required to authenticate your studio account and remember your display settings, we do not interrupt your workflow with invasive consent overlays.

3. Complete Cookie Inventory

Below is an exhaustive register of all first-party cookies and local tokens deployed by StudioOS:

better-auth.session_token
Strictly EssentialSession / 30 Days

Maintains your authenticated studio session across studioos.net and authorized subdomains. Enables secure sign-in without logging you out between visits.

studioos_admin_session
Strictly EssentialSession

Secures internal administrative consoles, rate-limit verifications, and multi-factor session validation for studio operators.

studioos_founder_unlocked
Functional / SecurityPersistent

Preserves private beta validation status and founder development stage tokens.

studioos-theme
FunctionalPersistent (Local Storage / Cookie)

Remembers your visual interface preference (Light Mode vs. Dark Mode) to prevent screen flicker upon page load.

studioos_active_workspace_id
FunctionalPersistent

Stores your currently selected creative studio workspace so you do not have to re-select it upon navigation.

4. Third-Party Media Embeds & Privacy Enhancements

When you embed client wedding films or cinema reels from YouTube, StudioOS automatically routes embeds through Google’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com).

This prevents YouTube from storing tracking cookies on your visitors’ browsers unless the client actively clicks play on the video.

5. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can configure your web browser to block or delete cookies at any time. However, because all cookies used on StudioOS are strictly essential for authentication, blocking them will prevent you from logging in or accessing your production workspace.

For privacy inquiries regarding cookies, contact our governance team at privacy@studioos.net.
